One of the huge advantages of using a marquee for a party/event is its total flexibility to be erected at the location of your choice. Car Parks, fields, lawns, and courtyards all make for good marquee venues. With the utilisation of scaffold platforms and modern flooring & fixing systems the most imaginative and spectacular locations can be used (steep slopes etc).
The Client's Own Site
Often a huge attraction of a marquee event is the option of staging it at your own premises. The advantages of this approach are numerous, but include:
- Initial Time Save: Sourcing the right venue can cost valuable time, even if you use an agency to find it for you, given that you will need to vet the site yourself before booking etc. With your own premises this process is unnecessary
- Cost Control: Where one can provide services such as power supply, security, toilet facilities, venue facility fee/s, car parking space etc costs can be very tightly controlled
- Improved Profile: We frequently find that companies who are promoting their name/brands/products prefer to run an event at their own premises where the fixed infrastructure is part of the brand message - Head Office events are naturally particularly popular
- Geographical Simplicity: Many companies prefer the simplicity of not having to organise accommodation, nor coach or other transport for their guests
- More Direct Involvement: Many of our clients prefer to stay 'close to the action', and having their event/marquee company in the car park or land outside the office window allows them this, as opposed to having to deal solely over the telephone until the day of the event. When time allows the client can physically pop down to the marquee to check how things are going
- The Buzz: There is a genuine buzz created, especially for a staff party event, when a structure is being erected outside the office. Many of our clients have a complete ban on staff/guests looking inside the structure in order to keep the theme or just the interior look of the marquee a secret before the party. Our crew have even been offered bribes to let people take a quick look inside!
